Debt Free is a Registered Debt Agreement Administrator (ITSA Registration no. 1098). Debt Free was established in 2006 and is committed to providing professional and impartial advice to people who are struggling with debt. Debt Free is regulated by ITSA and undergoes regular inspections conducted by ITSA.
The managing director of Debt Free, Anthony Warner, is a Registered Bankruptcy Trustee (Trustee no. 876 NSW) and an Official Liquidator (license no. 296667). Anthony is also a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association of Australia and an executive director of the Debt Agreement Practitioners’ Association. Anthony in his capacity as a Registered Trustee is also regulated by ITSA and undergoes regular inspections conducted by ITSA.

ITSA is the government agency that regulates the Debt Agreement Administrators and Registered Trustees.
What does ITSA do?
ITSA aims to minimize the impact of financial failure on the wider community by providing a personal insolvency system that produces equitable outcomes for both individuals and creditors. The Official Trustee of ITSA can also administer bankruptcy appointments. ITSA also operates a bankruptcy registry, where a debtors can lodge a debtors’ petition to become bankrupt. ITSA also administers the lodgment and voting of Debt Agreement proposals. ITSA can also investigate offences under the Bankruptcy Act.
